The key to any great omelette is having the perfect fillings. Our answer to this is simply but sweet! Cooking mushrooms and then glazing with Hoboken Heat will set this omelette apart. Be creative with your fillings, however, it is best to leave out any raw vegetables.
Ingredients:
3 Large Eggs
Clarified Butter
1 Cup of sliced Baby Portabella Mushrooms
2 Slices of Sharp Cheddar
Scallions
Salt
Pepper
Hoboken Heat
Steps:
Sauté sliced mushrooms on medium/high heat until all water has cooked off
Glaze mushrooms with Hoboken Heat before removing from stove
Heat up a non stick pan on low heat and coat with butter(the pan should not be too hot!)
Thoroughly scramble eggs and pour into heated/buttered pan
Wait until the bottom layer has cooked and then add cheese and mushrooms to half the eggs
Cover pan until the eggs are almost cooked then fold omelette over onto itself
Top with salt, pepper, and scallions
Serve with a drizzle of Hoboken Heat for an extra kick
